i forget the order, but u need to turn the amp off first and then the headunit...or the other way around. try that, i think the remote line briefly holds a small charge and that is where the popping is coming from.

i did a swith on a boat and we had to turn things on and off in a certain order to get rid of the pop

i likes me some audio stuff...

i dont do it to turn it off all the time, i only use it in emergencies like when you see the po-lice nearby and dont have time to wait 4 secs while holding the off button on the HU...they are assholes when it comes to noise ordinances...

new setup in the works

I use a simple switch. The only time mine pops is when i don't give the amps time to completly turn off

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

Turn the amp off, then the head unit. Mine pops also if I accidentally do it backwards (if I cut the car off before turning off the amp).
