Get an ElDorado and tell me it really easy  Padding ftl.

edit: It alot easier with smaller cars not luxury cars....

So agreed! Its hard to get over the 140s in a caddy trunk! The eldo is praticlly the same as my car but a 2 door. The rear seats are thick! the additional electrical panels behind the rear seat for the chassis, passkey, and other bs crap reduces more air flow, the 4 inch thick rear deck with foam padding, carpet, and other stock deadener crap, and then all the trunk carpeting........

140's are cake. Hell I can do 145's with my truck totally set up wrong and my tuning being off.

Thats a truck....not an extremely well padded trunk car....I have to get a pic of the padding Cadillac uses then you will understand...

I've done decent #'s out of a trunk too. In my buddies car we did a 148 in the kick with a 15" L5, zx1500.1, stock electrical and no extra batteries. This was from only one night of playing around. He ended up selling the car so I never got the chance to improve the score.

Edit: This was out of a Grand Am

  • 4 weeks later...

Last season ive done 141 on one premier SPL 12 and a phoenix gold octane R5.0.1 amp at 2 ohms which is about 200 rms facing in the trunk. This season 145 on music with 2 10 inch crunch ground pounders and 1 crunch GP2500d amp running at 1ohm / 1200 rms, havent burped it yet. By the way first post here so hello to everyone.
