reinke Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 i run a selaed 2.2 cube net in my wifes car. the only reason i run a sealed for her is for the music it sound amazing on everything. thats what i tell her atleast. i do it for the ease of control in bass race. the response curve is very smooth in a sealed box. LSN2meBoom916 Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 I am still (as I always have) running my 4 cvr 12's sealed in 5.15cft after displacement (yes for all 4) off a PG tantrum 1200.1 and last time I metered on a TL was last AutoRama and I burped a 146.3 in the kick... I later realized I was only running off a 60A fuse tho...I normally have a 60A glass style fuse AND a Maxi 80A at the same connection point in my dist. block (potentially 140A)...and I have since swithched to the maxi 80A and will be putting back in a 60A fuse once I pick some up. I can do around 145db TL on the dash. Vehicle is a '97 integra 2dr...everything in the trunk/hatch. I plan on getting metered this weekend if I can get everything put in before the meet here in kc/independence on sunday the 8th. The guys at the shop say I will hit 150 which I TOTALLY do not think I will hit. But I will post and let you all know what I hit if everything gets in as planned. Oh yeah. trunk sunfire with seat down, subs facing rear. That is what the setup will be. in the next comp, I will be running 3.98 cubes per sub before displacement with 46 sq" of port area tuned to about 35-40 hertz, audio enhancers enclosure, sitting in the back seats with the seats up. might hit 150 then.
