Bonappetit
I have a kinetik hc1400 under the hood and a hc2400 in the rear. My volts drop to about 12.5 when I play idling. Will this be efficient enough to run a zx2500 at 1ohm. These amps already got hot enough and I really dont wanna fry this thing. Team Sundown's Charles
Ya I burped it yesterday at the comp. Then I did just a little playing on the way home. When I got home and felt the amp it wasnt even hot. I've been running my 1500 at 1 ohms for about a week now and its hanging there like a champ. My voltage stays around 12.6 and i think as long as its not drop belove 12 we should be good. 1993 Mazda Mx-3 Subs: 2 18" DC Audio Lvl 4 D.7 Highs amp: Sundown SAX-100.4 Sub amp: Sundown SAZ-3000D Electrical:Kinetik 1200 under hood, 2-Kinetik 2400 rear All 1/0 KnuKonceptz Wire Power/Ground, Big 3, 8Ga Speaker Wire, KnuKonceptz Karma RCA's Dampening: 120sqft 80Mil Thick Sound Destroyer Mat Goal: 150 DB 149.9 Street Bass
fourlug
I use both mine daily @ 1 ohm, I have both fused with 350a anl fuses. My electrical is almost 300a of alternators charging 5 optima blue tops. I've had no problems but I try not to push the amps too hard Nonetheless I wouldn't recommend it, kicker does not either. Bonappetit
Is the only thing that could cause it to mess up at 1ohm over heating? like if i make sure it doesnt to hot is there any other problems to watch out for at 1ohm Team Sundown 3 15" Sundown Nightshades 1 RD HW D9 amp 10.5 cubes tuned 30hz

Bonappetit
Well ya I played around with it yesterday at 1ohm. While driving it drops to about 12.25. Would that cause a clip or is to low of voltage? Other then that if it stays at 12.25 and the amp doesnt get to hot will i be alright?
