newls1
Is it possible to get a quality amp to power 2 18" Fi BL's spending less then $500.00? I think it needs to be .05ohm stable, as that will be the load on it after getting 2 18"s with 2x2ohm coils on them. if so, can you point me in the right direction. Came so close to purchasing a MMATTs D3500.05, but the cost is out of budget. I know a *GOOD* amp is just as important as a good enclosure, but surely there has got to be a decent unit for less money. Thanks I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
wL<3bass
If you dont already have the subs...why not get dual 1 and then you would have a 1ohm load....or just get the dual 2 and get two amps? ALPINE408
Your not gonna push thos 18's for 500 unless you get one hell of a deal and big bad ass amp Get more money wait and look into the stetsom 26kd or the sundown 3000d Both out out great power and are just a few hundred more than your budget Have you ever had your woofers blown? IH8PunkRok
the easier way would be 2k wrms @ 2ohms but u will not find an amp that makes 2k @ 2 ohm for under 500 look into the stetsom 2kd it may be in ur price range. and i believe it does 2k @ 2 ohms kicker 2500 does 2k @ 2ohm i believe but is way above ur price range. -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build

ALPINE408
He needs more than 2000 watts for those 18's IMO 3000 to 3500 RMS would be awsome Have you ever had your woofers blown?

A&W ROOTBEER
well with those configurations you also get a 2ohm load..so i suggest adding another $125 and get a zx2500.
newls1
well with those configurations you also get a 2ohm load..so i suggest adding another $125 and get a zx2500.1I have not bought the speakers yet, so if I understand this correctly: Getting 1x1VC's will net me 2ohm per speaker, so have 2 2ohm speakers wired together will get me 1ohm, or 2ohm? So, im a n00b! <<head is down>>...... The ZX2500.1 kicker amp seem tasty, is it a "good" amp though? would me mmatts choice be better as far as quality is concerned?
