My First Box Build For My 2 18" Bl's.....*update* New Pics Added.......

Recommended Posts

i always thought my dad was full of shit when he told me about his car audio days, he was telling me he remembered when alpine and pioneer was a 2 knob sterio, and how boxes were totally different compared to now

I would pay for a nice Alpine 2 knob with AI Net

yeah right walk in to the home depot up here and try to find something, the retards there didn't even know what peel and seal was. i also asked where the flashing was in the roofing area and i got a :unsure:. these guys up here are some real window licker's.

You just got to spend time up and down the store. Asking for help will just lower your IQ when you leave.

Try getting mdf cut there they allways tell me you know its gonna be an 1/8 inch off right?? Dumbass's can't figure to take the blade into there cut

I always add 1/8 to my measurements ;)

Try telling them you want a rip of 14" large, and see what they say

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

it would be ok if all the cuts where 1/8th off

I always have the rough cuts more then I need, then flush trim the extra off. You just have to learn how to work with the "special" people

Sweet box!!! Deffintally going to get the super loud!

thank you, just got home from work (4.38am) and am getting to work on my box again.....been up 21hours, and back to working on this thing, yes im addicted! Can someone tell me what is the preferred way of getting the speaker wires to the outside of the case, is there anything special or fancy I can do. I would hate to just drill a couple of holes and run the wire out, then seal the hole up as best as I could, that it just to "redneck" LOL!

I love my staffie :good:

Just drill a few holes and seal around them.

No need to get fancy on your 1st box. ;)

That looks inventive, Now how would I do that with 2 speakers each with dual coils, and keep it understandable?
