The damn E-2 got to spend a weekend in Virginia Beach jail for fighting. It was so bad the judge wanted to give her 5 years for the shit. lovellsz Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 i dont how it was at your meps but the guard works a lil different than active... you swear in once.... and once you do your in, active has to do it twice once for show once for real before you leave, guard does it once and your in. They have you do RSP unit until you ship to basic, but once you swear in ONCE for the Gaurd your stuck like chuck, unless your just a complete shit bag at basic or AIT then they will discharge you. However it take lots of time, when i left AIT we had 6 people in my company waiting for paperwork to go thru to get discharged and they had been waiting since i arrived at AIT, and my AIT was 26 weeks long after waiting for almost 2 months to get classed. Last i heard they were still waiting. Basic isnt that hard. You wake up early you do pt you train you eat you train some more you eat, you do additional pt you get mail you go to sleep, then it repeats all thru basic. He's never finished anything in life, dropped out of high school, dropped out of Vocational college, quit every job he's had in the first week, , and basically quit the Army.

But don't jump on the OP because he realized just what war is. I personally would love to fight for our country, but I have always been more intelligent than athletic, so I'm going to college instead. Just because someone changes their mind about going to war doesn't necessarily mean they are going to quit everything in life. There is a huge line between someone who quits college programs and careers vs. a person who is scared shitless of IEDs and getting shot in the mother fucking face.
