KICKERKX1200
which would you choose between between a kenwood dnx-8120 an a alpine iva-w505 and why? I can get the kenwood for 975.00 and the alpine for 730.00.
wL<3bass
I would go with the kenwood over the alpine....but honestly I don't really like either....I hate push button volume I prefer rotary knob. But that kenwood is really nice the functions are GREAT but no rotary knob . KICKERKX1200
i want one with a nice smooth clean look and bigger screen which you loose with the rotary knob. im leaning toward the kenwood but it does cost more.. is it worth the 245.00 more. which has the better picture quality in all lighting conditions? kingsuv
Both are nice units. I like that the Alpine has a few more options for expandability in the future Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

All Night Long
If you're planning on doing over 150 db then I would say go for the Alpine. I've heard good things about their decks and high spl. Also if you compete with if you can use it to mute roll the volume to help keep amps out of protect at low impedences.
