aznboi3644 Posted July 16, 2008 Report Posted July 16, 2008 car battery=too many amps haha. you can take like a 12v drill battery too. On 32 subs hooking up a car battery would do nothing....they'd last all day. 12.5 volts ^2 divided by even .5 ohms would only be 25 watts.

I see you are cutting the flush mount baffle with the plunge router and then "plunge" it deeper to cut the circle. My question is how do you keep the depth constant with the plunge router as you are cutting the circles? Please don't tell me you just have to hold it steady. Can you lock it at a certain depth? Yes plunge routers lock at a certain depth that you can preset by hand or just do it by eye.

I think this setup will be a hell of alot easier to pull off, and with more space it will work out better. Except thats Direct Current not AC so they wouldnt take it, the coils would just heat up and probably fry after a while
