sundownz
10" diameter slugs, triple stacked. The pole flare is a bit shallower and narrower than I wanted... but we'll see how it does with testing. I have the coils, spiders, cones, etc waiting for it here! Picture is from the factory, it's on the way to me soon Not showing the other side of the motor yet, sorry guys! And before anyone asks... no ETA on production, I still haven't tested this prototype yet! sundownz
wowzers... 4" vc id assume Thats actually "just" a HUGE 3" coil. I am testing some cooling methods in this motor so it should do nicely If my goals aren't met with the 3" then the next step will be to prototype a 4" coil motor. I am optimistic for this driver and the 3" coil, though! quakecitystudio
I've always wondered what would happen if a company were to build a 12" woofer with a 6" or more voice coil. Even if the magnet was bigger than the woofer in diameter. Quote Bass Music Producer • Photographer • Graphic Designer -------------- Deep Sector Boom...
