BassJunkie
I've seen jb weld fix some pretty crazy shit, but nothing with this much vibration and weight hanging on it. Excited to see the outcome when you bump it, hope it works man. 1986 C20 Suburban 9 American Bass XFL 15's B2 M1MKII 14v XS Power Batteries Maxwell Caps Acoustical energy is free. audiofanaticz
Nice that it worked! just another thought for added reassurance, when you build the box, try to make a brace for the magnet so that the sub is not putting all its weight on the mounting holes. AI James
it wont be in a box that allows that stress this time i'll either have it downfiring in somethign or mounted the way its playing in that video...seems its not a fluke what happened My MTX 9500 was broken yes, was broken! I know it sound impossible, so my advice is get a support for the magnet. The frame broke off & cone rip off also. Here before AND after so i created an idea is to fix it. yes fix it so i took everthing apart & clean it i brought L shape to connect ring & frame together & Glue call Gorilla Pros: on Gorilla glue: Strong as Fu*k Cons: Take long time to dry I glue cone back to voice coil. Was working like i want it to. As for frame i use L shape to connect frame together see pic Below. & this is how it turn out :naughty: I myself rather JB weld but just wanted to quote that for people to see another way it can be done.
