Boon Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Yup. Need lots and lots of port area. Also take a fair bit of power to get moving. Very unforgiving, coils burn real quickly if your box is wrong or you clip them. 10.x volts fo' life!

I sure as hell wouldn't use one just cause i'd be scared to blow it. there are many other subs out that are far more forgiving of error like the slip of srewdriver while adjusting the gain. [from experience] but it is a very good sub. What kind of problems do most people have with them? Box design? Power?
