if you know what you are doing it can be a great sub, but not good for someone who isn't experienced with high power and low/no room for mess up room installs. I sure as hell wouldn't use one just cause i'd be scared to blow it. there are many other subs out that are far more forgiving of error like the slip of srewdriver while adjusting the gain. [from experience] but it is a very good sub.

Current Setup:

Factory HU with LOC

mids/highs-Insignia components

Sub- E8 in bass tube

Amp- sae-1200d

Show Setup:

HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony)

fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps

rears- Infinity Kappa coax

mid/high amp - Autotek 5600

Subs - 2 RE SE 15's

Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D

Box - 5cubes sealed

Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0

And those pics are of the old style. New ones are supposed to be a little heavier. Also have about 2ft of wire instead of the terminals.

Good subs. Can handle a lot of power in the right application. Have you seen any of Hexibase's videos on youtube?

Yeah i saw all the videos. And they look fukin beastly. But i havnt done a lot of high power installs so im kinda worried now. What kind of problems do most people have with them? Box design? Power? Electrical?
