Footlongsam's F*ckin Around Again

Recommended Posts

Sounds like alotta PM's, but I'm down.

Looks like 45htz (thanks Drew)

I don't really care for doing it "the right way" because If I'm HAPPY with it, then I won't tear it back out and I won't really learn the way I want to.

I've had 6 setups in this car since I got it. The only real way I learn is when I fuck up and have to fix it. :D

So if it takes me 6 more tries to hit a 150 (my goal) I'm down for that too.

Cool cool. Keep us posted man!! Hope when your done, hope there is plenty of this http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif!! If you want do do the top chamber tuned to 45hz, holla, noob knows how, and I can do some math too. I would love to do the math. I need to learn too!! But like I said, holla if you want man.

Loud as f*ck, and sounds good doing it.

Av is the cross-sectional area of the port (in square inches),

Lv is the length of the port (in inches) and

Vb is the enlcosure's net volume (in cubic inches).

OR

you can be lazy and go to linearteam.com and download winISD Alpha

The ports are on the outside of the box, does that matter??

and what if I made the ports longer? Lower frequencies?

I may have an Idea on how I'm building the top.

With the ports out of the box, it wouldn't matter, the ports wouldn't take away from box size whereas if the port is in the box, it will.

Yes, if the port's are longer, the tuning will be lower.

are you saying port length doesnt matter when using external ports?
