m4a3master
Amp Birthsheet Specs: T20001bd DOB 5/22/08 @14.4v 1202 rms @ 4 2248 rms @ 2 2146 rms @ 1 I called RF tech because of a problem I was having with the amp cutting into protect mode, and later found out it was the subs dropping below 1 ohm. During the troubleshooting I spoke to a rep (Jeramy) who said to wire each sub to 2 ohms and turn up the volume to see if the amp goes in to protect mode, I let him know my concerns of the sub only being 1000 rms and the birth sheet stating @ 2 ohms it was putting out 2248 watts, he told me I was wrong in twenty different ways while I explained it wasn't me assuming, it was what the birth sheet said. Later he admitted the birthsheet was wrong, and not accurate, I then began to question the testing involved, and he said there was no way for them to test something with that amount of power in there facility, due to the lack of testing equipment. I called him back today with the results of the trouble shooting and asked, If this inaccuracy with my Birth Sheet was an isolated case or are some or all the birthsheets wrong, and he said there was a level a guess work involved, due to the lack of testing equipment and the birth sheets were in accurate. I know for a fact RF underrates there amps to a certain degree, and the quality is top, but why ship out a birth sheet if its not accurate? Beanz
so does that mean that RF amp cant go lower than 1 ohm?cause i was thinking of getting the T2001?and why is it that the rms is more at 2ohms then at one ohm? That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
