I believe you have to run the wire from the engine block directly to the frame, cause otherwise the ground is really serving no purpose since it will still be flowing through you battery ground...if that makes any sense.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

if you went from engine block to frame then batt neg to engine block, that means that the electricity has to flow through more metal (more resistance) to get to the batt negative from the ground where the amps are. LOL, unless the amps are grounded to the engine block!!

Loud as f*ck, and sounds good doing it.

Team built from here on out!!!!

BIG things to come.........

Missing link is the shite!!!

ok i finally got on for some reason i couldnt, thanks logan,

what i did was there was a small wire coming from the - post to the skin of my car i added wire to that

1acv005.jpg

then i ran a wire from the - on the battery to a bolt on my engine

1acv011.jpg

so i was wondering if i ran a strand from the + on the battery to the alt if that would be the big 3

my big problem is i camt find a ground from the engine to the frame anywhere on my car
