pervitizm Posted August 13, 2008 Report Share Posted August 13, 2008 I just cut a 1.5 inch hole in the floor of my truck to run my pair of 1/0 wires to the back. What do you guys use to seal the hole with so that the wires won't get cut by the metal? I tired using gasket sealant but that didn't work out as well as I though. ptcary Posted August 14, 2008 Report Share Posted August 14, 2008 My buddy gave me a grommet attached to a rubber hose that fits the hole I used in the firewall to get 2 runs of 1/0 through. Kinda like the rubber hose in the door jam that wires run through only bigger diameter. Can probably find something at an autoparts store.
