Correct Way To Wire?

ok i added this pic to show that you need a fuse b4 the second set of batteries but yes + to + and - to - of each battery and then + from battery to amp/s, and - from battery to amp/s

but if you want to save some wire just ground the rear batteries to the chassis of the vehicle.

yes...assuming they are all 12v batteries. All positives together and all negatives together

well i thought i would put my fuses from the back batts to the amps? i only have 2 fuses with 2 fuse holders. but i will deff prolly just ground out batts instead of running the two neg runs from the front. never thought of that before.

your amps should have fuses those will protect the amps. the fuses on the wire are to protect the rest of the vehicle if your + wire should short out. If you dont fuse b4 the second set of batteries ( rear batts) the front fuse will/may pop but the wire will still be live from the batts in the back which = disaster aka fire!

well my sundowns say i need an external 300 amp fuse. so thats what i got 1 for each amp. so now im kinda stuck on what you mean. if i gotta put one before the back batts that means i will use both fuses on the 2 runs of positive im running.

the choice is your buy more fuses/holders, or take the risk of burning your car down.

hell yea that sucked but he put his under the seat i mean i know what you guys mean but after dropping 5+ on a system im kinda left dry and still havent bought the wood yet. could i get away with it for a while then later on fuse them? and wouldnt running 4 fuses kinda limit the amount of power coming through those wires?
