wL<3bass Posted September 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted September 17, 2008 i love those cars and i wish i could put an engine back together after i took it apart Motor and tranny are back in the car 3 of the 4 motor mounts are connected gotta get the 4th one done and then start hooking everything back up Oh yeah and get the new axles seals put in which is a piece of cake. edit: Didn't get any pics of the the motor back in yet that'll be tomorrow if I remember..... doug118 Posted September 27, 2008 Report Share Posted September 27, 2008 did you already order all of those parts? and my buddy just sold a 91 gsx missing a head and exhaust for $300 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif but I could have got you a crank for cheap money and 300whp does not require any internal work at all, just a intercooler, external wastegate, exhaust, supporting fuel, and dsmlink. the kid who sold his 91 ran a 12.8 with a Buschur intercooler & piping, Buschur 3" turbo-back exhaust, tial 44mm wastegate, dsmlink, and act clutch. EVERYTHING else was stock, even the origial 17 year old struts sorry for the TERRIBLE quality but heres a cell phone video of the car with antilag at 12psi and full boost at 20psi http://www.megavideo.com/?v=6DKXF4DY 2001 Tahoe.
