I can ship a BTL 18 over for bout $1200 all up, so i'm really not sold on either.. I pretty much need max output with ma given space, so it looks like just one 18... Wat d'you think i should go for: 1 9518g probably on a RF T4k 1 Fi Btl on a RF T2k (and maybe upgrade to 2 after summer) 2 Fi Q 15's on two T1k's I'm looking to get in to dragging down under, wat's the cometition like in the the street classes, i've never been to an event! dwright27 Posted August 30, 2008 Report Share Posted August 30, 2008 the 9900 series DD ( now called the 95 series with composite cone ) can take some SERIOUS power. ive heard of people putting 6.5KW to them and that was where they really started to come alive. the 9500 is a great woofer, as well as the BTL. my BTL got LOW and loved it. So does my MT. which ever you go with, is gonna really make your car shake. are you gonna be doing burps or bass race?? I started with 45Hz tuning and kept adding length to the port until I got the output I wanted from it and authority on the low notes. It peaked incar at 39/40Hz. It worked well.
