If you get level 5 coils with them, youll need 1500rms+ for them to work.. they could take 2k rms each but after that you might as well get level 5's..

they dont NEED 1500+ rms even with a level 5 coil you can get peak to peak out of them with 1krms with lvl 5 coils

yea so... your underpowering them majorly those level 5 coils are hungry and 800rms is like giving them ramen noodles when they they want steak.. youd be amazed if you had more power to them...

:huh::huh: i dont understand i tought if you wire two dual 2 ohm speakers in parallel you will get a .5 ohm range

i tell you guys what though ..... i ran my Hifonics 1500d on my two DC lvl 4 15 w/lvl 5 coils and they banged like hell ........ got rid of the 1500d and got a MA Audio HK602SX (2400rms @ 1 ohm 14.4 volts and) and they love every bit of the power given and can take more. i got the 225 amp alt to keep them feed just right, next i'll get the MLA module and powermaster battery(s) so they will never starve.
