head unit shuts off by itself

in most head units if you drop volts below 11.5 it will shut off.  even if you read 14.4 if you have a below standard ground to the head (which most factory wiring is below standard) it will drop volts at high strain times.

Its all about the Install !!!!

Upgrade your BIG 3 wiring. I had the exact same problem. Deck would turn off at high volumes of bass. IPOD, cd player or radio, did not matter,it would turn off and then back on. After I did my big three and the problem went away.

ihave voltage problems in my car and i drop  down to 10 volts and my sony keeps chuggin.
