Your best bet at your age is to just TRY college. Go take like 2 classes at a community college and see what happens. Maybe you werent good in highschool and you will excel in college. You never know man.

Plus, its really hard to make a good living in the car audio field man, especially as an installer. You would need to get in with a really nice shop that moves a lot of business. Tricky thing with that, they are a dime a dozen now.

HVAC you can make shit loads of money man. I know a few guys doing that now. One makes over 100k a year doing HVAC work. I mean the guys got 2 vipers, one new and one like 1998. He must be doing something right.

i have been in car audio for over 10 years now. unless you live in a area where it is huge dont expect to retire with a job in car audio. no offense to any one else who is in the industry.

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

HVAC will ALWAYS be around and needed. that is a good option right there. and good money that comes along with it.

Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move. :D

x20. i do still live by the truth that if car audio is really your love make it last. i am not trained in anything but being a machinist. but, with a bunch of felonies not shop will hire me. so i said fuck it and got my mecp and havent looked back. we do plan on moving to FLA in the next 3 years so it will pay alot more down there.

Construction Management. If you want to drill it down a bit and make even more money. Get into Civil Engineering. It's a nice field to be in ;)

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
