meade916
actually it was mainly designed to be 52hz wide open and 30hz with the port in it...the idea didnt pan out as good as i thought it would. With the port out the numbers were about the same but with no low end. I think the subs may be too close to hole when its wide open like that. Also im not so sure a Tahoe likes to be tuned that high. It was just for burping like that but since it didnt help i decided not to try it again. I can change the port tuning a little still by having different ports to just bolt in but i havent done it yet. I may do it this summer, maybe experiment a little if i can find some time. ChevyBoy
thats what i was wondering, how you would get the higher tuning. i knew the port in there wasnt really all that long, so i was unsure how "short" you could go. im sure if it broke a 60, it would be all over this thread lol. sean 371
He'd just have to add more port area to it. sean 371
Instead of making the port shorter, he can make the port area larger to raise the tuning. meade916
Instead of making the port shorter, he can make the port area larger to raise the tuning. trust me there is a ton of area with the port unbolted and removed...that is why the tuning goes way up. Slinky
judging by the pics you would have plenty of port area with the port removed. x2 on experimenting this summer. i want to see you break 60. NotoriouslyLoud
i think we would all love to see steve break a 160 Quote http://www.notoriouslyloudmafia.com http://www.teamwolfpackaudio.com
meade916
id love to see me do it too but i would have to say it probably wont happen. Going from 157-158 to a 160 is like going from 140 to a 150. Seems like it anyway. At this level those deebeez are so hard to come by. 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel!
