Forevrbumpn Posted September 29, 2008 Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 wow how thick was the solder wire? honestly, using a thinner wire melts almost instantly so you do have to deal with over heating, and melting the rubber just clamp the cable, and get yourself about 2ft of some thin gauge solder, pre heat the terminal- UN- crimped for about 20 seconds or so, then feed the solder in to the strands, and the terminal while it melts fast Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". LOL.
