paco
Ok so I Have a good Idea what box I'm going to make for 2 kicker L7's but My question is when I get ready to put the resin on top of the box, what kind of material should I use to cover the skeleton? Oh and where can I buy this material. I've seen some forum users here use a blue looking suede looking material, whats the name of this material? and where did you buy it from? I live in Chicago so any advice on where I could buy it would be appreciated. thanx. 1996 Impala, just a weekend toy Molesting the wicked streets of chitown (next in line for sounds) 2006 Corolla...current audio head ache and money pit Alpine cda 9881 head unit pioneer 6x9's Hiphonics 6.5 components power acustik tweeters Not installed but in the to install list: Hifonics Brutus BXI 2080D 2600 watts rms 2 12" Kicker L7's Dual 4 ohm subs wired at 2 ohms each = 1 ohm load 0 gauge wire, MLA module
roscoe1129
You can use almost any type of material alot use fleece aka sweatshirt material. You can get it at walmart or any local fabric store. wasted ink
i usually go for ponte, a spandex like material. it wets out really nicely, and stays pretty smooth to put layers over. just my $0.02, fleece will work just fine, just personal preference really. Torres
fleece and ponte work best. fleece is much cheaper tho. other fabrics may work just as good, but some tend to sag which is bad

The Performer
They are right with the ponte, try and go with that if you can. There's a thread about ponte vs. fleece and ponte took the win by far with curves. CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! Not being new at something doesn't mean anything.
