EDIT: my step dad took one a couple weeks ago at 5AM...he asked my mom for one...after getting no sleep...which is stupid as shit because he had to work that day and u have to devote 8 hrs to sleep...so when i woke up he was walking around the house humming songs and going in the kids rooms and making their beds n talking to himself...and i didnt know WTF was going on...i didnt know he took anything...he then says hes gonna go drive somewhere and im like OK....little did i know that he left the fucking house in nothing but his boxers and shoes...and drove himself to the ER stating that he saw "double vision"...what a dipshit... I remember taking it and watching TV and chillin round 9pm, next thing I remember is waking up, in another room. No memory of last night AT ALL, ZERO. Kinda scary in my opinion. pstone11 Posted October 8, 2008 Report Share Posted October 8, 2008 I had problems sleeping a while back.. the ambien worked too well, crazy dreams, but really, really, really, restful sleep. It's a really good sleep aid, but as stated above make sure you have time to sleep, take it on an empty stomach for best results. You will know you got the real stuff (Ambien) if you got little WHITE pills. I got what you got ( generic) and it DID NOT do anything. Then I got the real stuff, AMBIEN, and it works 100%. I got the good stuff and here was my experience: I would take 2 before bed (after I had been taking it for a while) and I wouldn't go to sleep.
