sundownz Posted October 17, 2008 Author Report Posted October 17, 2008 This is, of course, Brandon's Bronco. We had a sub that UPS broke the basket lip off on it... so we drilled extra holes in the basket and mounted it down anyway to mess around with it. sundownz Posted October 17, 2008 Author Report Posted October 17, 2008 what'd it do db-wise @ 22hz? It was doing right around 140 dB at 22 Hz. The box is tuned in the low 20s - so the port seems to be acting here, and then at a higher frequency we assume that the port is being bypassed in large part and the "hole" is acting like the port at that point Quote - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
sundownz Posted October 17, 2008 Author Report Posted October 17, 2008 We might drop the Monster sub in the 15" hole side and see what happens Maybe make different sized "hole" plates. Could be fun! ... sometimes we have too much fun around here!
