Drifte.au Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Try setting your LPF about 80hz, sub at about 20-25hz. Loose the bass boost and any EQ, then fiddle from there Vids look awesome must be moving a shitload of air!

I'll just keep it short and stay with "start over"
Torres Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 i dont know all of the technicalities of bandpass boxes, as far as designing them, but they do take up a lot of space. and from the looks of it, you're already tight on space. so i'm not 100% sure if you could use all 32 of your speakers. meaning you wouldnt be able to use both amps. unless you stepped up on speakers that needed more power since you're lookin to get new speakers anyway. i'd PM forevrbumpn and ask him some questions.

And the "ported" side was the top. The plan was to seal the back and flare the front to conform to the B-pillars like walls are supposed to. Yes, right now it is still nasty looking, but I never said it was done. And the videos I posted were TESTS. Play with it first man, dont't give so easy. It is good to be different some times... Haha, I'm not giving in! I am actually just getting lazy and want to start a different design!(...contradiction much? ) I love installing and I'll do it a hundred times. Even if I found a wild 160+ setup, I would most likely tear it out and try something new. It's just the way I am. Rectangular Box built outside to put in: 40 long x 36 wide x 30 tall Rectangular Box built inside: 40 long x 36 wide x 36 tall Trapezoidal Box built to conform to car for MAX space: - Front area(Pillars to rear tire wells comfortably): 14 long x 52 wide x 41 tall - Back area(tire wells to rear hatch): 30 long x (36 w/o wells or 44 w/ wells) x Curve (<41") Rectangular "Boxed" Box: too many factors to remember but similar to ^^ I could "box" it all up and that's my plan with the next design, but those angles added more space which I figured I needed for this one.
