I'm skeptical regarding the airspace for that many subs being available in a PT, but you are off to a great restart. There are members here with 20+ subs that can help you with advice, Assman, Galactic, Exposport..... thought i was doing good with 8 12's, going to have to go big to keep up with the guys around here. Looks great, take your time and it will be right the first time. How many cubes you squeeze out of that PT for the box, it seems like it is kinda small for those subs but cone space plus power will almost always get nasty loud. You know, considering the fact that I built the box into the car and I'm using the car as the box in some parts, it's coming out almost dead on. Maybe just a little short. Assuming the subs only need .75cu per then I'll be dead on. If I were to port it, I would be a little short. I think I'm right at roughly 30 cu total without subtracting the drivers. Need an install? Torres Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I'm skeptical regarding the airspace for that many subs being available in a PT, but you are off to a great restart.x2. my explorer is only a 2 door, but my friend drives a cruiser and they seem about the same size if not smaller. i have just about full capacity to fit 19 cubes in there for my 8's. then again...i did notice that yours is sealed, so that will help the space issue if there was any.

What is the rolloff frequency for the 10" sealed? I am guessing low 40's hz, so that sucker will get plenty loud for SPL. I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
