David Posted October 30, 2008 Report Posted October 30, 2008 I love the MKiii Jetta, great car, mine has almost 2oo,ooo on the odometer, the only issues I have seen was the factory alarm went haywire on me, but thats easily defeattable. they get great gas mileage, are kinda quick if you do a few mods to them, they have a huge aftermarket following them. go here to learn more about how awesome thsese cars are http://www.vwvortex.com Quote

Great and fast engines, but the g-loader will not last too long... Quote

For some reason I was thinking that they do, but maybe I'm thinking of the Golf. they do now, they didnt in 1988. the older 1.8 16v is a better engine from what i understand. 87- 90 id be happy with one of those yrs with a 1.8 16v.
