I'm not saying I do, or I'm planning on causing an incident, but hypothetically speaking, if I were to have a problem with something a mod did/said, is it just I don't bring it up in that thread, and I take it to PM, OR do I just have to eat it altogether? I could see the first one. You don't want your authority challenged, but IMO, (and I'm not speaking about anyone on this site, just based upon previous experience) if you have a forum where your mods can run roughshod over any and everyone, their "power" goes to their head. If I'm "out of line" in posting this just edit it to nothing-ness, or delete my post altogether, but I just want to make sure I'm understanding how this place works before I do something that is deemed inappropriate. um we're pretty fair. Theres always someone whos going to PM steve meade himself and try to get a decision that we made reversed, but he knows we dont just slam someone for nothing. That being said this board is very diferent then alot of others. and as brough up in another thread, if a mod says somethign to you, then you most likely diserved it. If you turn it into a public argument most likely it wont end good for the person who starts the drama. Id recommend a PM to whomever you have the altercation with if that doesnt work then PM David. Forevrbumpn Posted November 27, 2008 Report Share Posted November 27, 2008 Just curious, I have been here for 2 years or so, and it bugs me when I post something for sale, and I get questioned about it in the thread, (which I actually prefer) and then a mod will delete what they said, or come out with the warnings to those who ask, when I'am at work, or havent been online in a few hrs, so I have missed the comment See, if I open a for sale thread, I would LIKE people to ask me questions about what I'am selling, and if I answer what they are asking, then EVERYone can see my comments on the product I'am selling, and don't have to get my mail box bombed up with 10 PM's about the same damn question If I'am selling for example speaker cones I say this and that, if there is anything I left out, and I'am asked in the thread, its beneficial to the me the seller, and more info is let known to the buyers I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. Someone not agreeing with your price, no matter how ridiculous it is, is not good.....that type of post dumping is not allowed. I dont patrol the for sale section, the mods do, so i dont know what they are allowing. I would think something relevant to the sale would be OK though.
