Instead of upgrading your 1500d to a 3000d why not just get another 1500d? Makes more sense to me.

Im not sure on the enclosure yet. Was just going to do upfiring but got the tape out and realized it going to be wall all the way.

Its going into my tiny 2001 ford escape lol. (Hey if it can be done in a mini cooper my escape can take it no prob. Im also keeping the back seat. I plan on around 5-6 cubes a sub at around 32-35 hz.

I want some high end though. I dont want my subs only hitting half of the time. Should I tune up around 36hz. What is the sound quality like on these things Im just looking for a clean bass not actual SQ woofers. And finaly how long did it take for them to get your 18s to you?

Sorry for spamming board with copy pasta BS.

You guys are still yt to answer my question of witch sub would be louder. ss rl-p15 or fi bl-15.

And what do you meen I dont have enuff power. If my sundown is spitting out around 1600rms at 1ohm and these subs are rated for 1000rms max apiece how does this constitute not enuff rms as Im running them at 80% power.

As far as the underpowering is concerned, you will be putting 800 watts to each sub,.... I can speak for the Bl's.... When you look at that rating on the Fi website where it says Rms: 1000W* - That asterix means that it will handle 1000 watts bone stock with no options without breaking a sweat... add a few options to it and each sub would love a 1500w sundown all to their own. You need to put some good power to them to make them shine. 800 watts each would be OK for a couple weeks, then you're going to want to go bigger, guaranteed.

I can't say anything about the soundsplinters, no experience with those guys.

Check out StoneSounds to see my recent builds.Or look at the Flying White Facebook Page!
