Craig
I'm trying to come up with ideas for 2 15inch L7's, 2 1500 watt amps in an explorer. i'm open to any and all suggestions, ported, sealed, big, small, lay'em on me. i'm leaning toward a smaller sealed enclosure this time, wanna try alittle something different this time. Ernesto
Sealed with L7s? :^ Hell no, they love ported enclosures! Do about 4.0-4.5cubic ft per sub with 75-100sqin of port for them (both) tunned to 33hz
scratchy
maybe he just forgot what he said to the other guy, its not such a big deal really Quote then im rambo bitch
David
sealed L7's sound great imo, they get louder ported, but sound better sealed imo.
Ernesto
You don't need 100sqin of port. I had my two 15" L7s in 8.2cubic ft and 82sqin of port...... quote from you earlier telling someone else about [glow=red,2,300]using 2 L7 15's. If you tell one guy exact specs and tell another guy estimates specs, that's bad business man (See also...not cool). Tell them both the same thing or don't tell either one anything at all. I know the specs you told the other guy are in the range that you're telling this guy. But why not just tell him the same thing you told the other guy since you said it worked great for you???[/glow] Huh??I'm suggesting to him what I have heard worked good for other people with L7s... Me personally using two 15" L7s my enclosure was 8.2cubic ft with 82sq inch @ 35hz... I'm not trying to fuck over any one or be a dick...I'm simply suggesting what has worked good for other people and myself. Another guy stated "minimum 100sqin of port" that's where I said you don't need 100sqin of port to get them to sound good, especially since he said minimum, notice I said 100sqin of port MAX.
