hammerdown
how long does it take you to get your Ride ready for a show? IE.... Cleaning the inside, wash and waxing, shampooing, washing underneath and so on. As for my self the big shows it usually takes me 2 weeks to prepare. That includes the list above and putting my ride on stands (all 4 wheels off the ground) washing the underside and using flat black paint after it has been dried. I use a squeegy to clean my windows (spray down with foam window cleaner). Also remove all seats and shampoo the carpet I use a lint roller.. I go through 3 rolls of lint free paper towels. I use Blue Magic and Mothers on my rims. theres a lot of other little odds and ends I do. My SUV isn't a trailer baby yet but, by the middle of this season it will be on ts way to be coming just that. Chroming the underside. LSN2meBoom916
Wash, wax, vaccum, detail & clean the plexi & such. About 2hrs if I have that much time. W/E possible I'll do it the night b4 since it sleeps in the garage, and just roll out the next day feelin all shiny and sexified. I swear it RUNS better when it's clean. During the summer I wash and wax it every weekend. Cali summers are THE BEST IMO. I either Jus cruise in w/ the beat off and catch folks off guard in the qualifying rounds or just HAMMER it all way into the show and find my chill spot to wait for quals to start.
