sundownz Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Indeed SAX-100.4 for your component speakers. I suggest either two 1000Ds, two 1500Ds, or a single 3000D for your woofers depending on what you want and your VC configuration. I suggest either two 1000Ds, two 1500Ds, or a single 3000D for your woofers depending on what you want and your VC configuration. The 3000 seems like a good idea, due to the fact I can change the sub configuration later if I want too and get more power with the same amp. So if I get the dual 2 ohm subs, I can run the 3000 at 2 ohms for 1600watts. I think that would work best bang for the dollar as opposed to getting 2 amps. Can you pm me a price on the 100.4 and the 3000? Derrick824 Posted December 29, 2008 Report Posted December 29, 2008 Contact your local dealer or rep for best pricing on Sundown Audio products. http://www.sundownaudio.com/dealers.html dB-r.com also has some kickass prices on their refurbushed products. They have a sale going on right now with saz-3000s as low as $625. http://www.db-r.com/sell/store/index.php Quote
jcro_61 Posted December 29, 2008 Author Report Posted December 29, 2008 (edited) I was looking at the different online dealers but somebody said I could buy it from them direct. Thats why I asked that. From what I saw there are no local dealers either. I know steve runs his like 2-3000 over the rated rms. So I figure with everything setup properly plus the imp rise the extra 500 per sub would probably be a little less and work fine no? I have heard of people blowing them at over 100 too so who knows.
