audiofanaticz Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 what jack said. some come with a card which is just a resister, but some cheap 3$ testlight will do the same. It slowly charges the cap, so it dont spark upon connecting posative and negative wires. if its not hold a charge it maybe junk tho. They should hold a charge for a fairly long time with no power to them. At least 20 minutes for sure on a cheap off brand name capacitor.
