trainman0978
I dont understand the thread title. This vehicle came out in the late 70s or early 80s. And this vehicle is not what made lamborghini famous. the rivalry with ferrarri in the formula 1 , and european road racing circuits are what made lamborghini and ferrarri the companies the are today. Even most lambo collectors and aficionados will tell you this vehicle is a black sheep of lamborghini's historu. Quote 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Voo Doo Blue my upgrades and "build" thread. BJD3
I dont understand the thread title. This vehicle came out in the late 70s or early 80s. Even most lambo collectors and aficionados will tell you this vehicle is a black sheep of lamborghini's historu. ^This^ Honestly, this is the beginnings of Lamborghini. And if you mean the start of their car building it starts here. Maybe we're just missing the point of what you were trying to say? Either way, I do like that truck. Im not 100% sure about this but these were going to be used in our military but werent because we took the cheaper route... hummerid drive it... wouldnt change a thing either except put some offroad wheels and tires and some tint on it smile.gif I'm not 100% sure on this either, but I would think the US Military would have used Jeep before they used this. IIRC, those were the two the government was looking at before they chose the HMMWV. The Jeep was cheaper, but it wasn't the workhorse they needed it to be. It's been a while since I've seen that show, but I think that's what was said. Edited January 2, 2009 by BJD3 Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Forevrbumpn
The good ole LM002 I was a big Lambo nut when I was a kid, and this was one of my favorites, along with the muira, and countach(sp) Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. I just read up on that, but it looks horrible!! looks like a DONK Lambo there was another design that looked like the Cayenne, with the Porsche motor too, that one looked cool Quote I have a ritual called "terminator".
