bunkerking09
What do you guys use for bracing? All Thread? 2 x 4's? 90 degree metal things? So many choices. I would go with all thread, but they look ugly on the outside of the box :censored:
RamenNoodles
I like allthread because it takes up less space inside of the box, its cheap, and very easy to install. Plus its very hard to bend granted you get the shit thick Quote Diablo Audio Technologies Fi Car Audio Ascendant Audio

Boon
Resin, 1" dowel and 2x4's I find dowel is much easier to work with (read: cut) than all thread and braces just as well. Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
Nightshade
Besides 2X4's and resin inside my box I also have 1 1/4" oak dowel rod bracing. Each of the three things that I used in my box have not failed yet and there is no flex when the subs play and very little echo when you hit the box. Decaf
ive used them all, and am sticking with dowel rods albeit small, the roughness of the allthread could cause more turbulence than a smooth rounded dowel rod, and ive found allthread works best when you have ~3X3" wood block on each side of its anchor points, otherwise the washer and bolts dent the wood when you tighten them on each side and its not easy making a bolt sticking out of the box look nice, whereas the dowels are internal nightshade: thats always one of my goals with bracing, if i can knock on the box and only get very high pitched short reverbs than you know the box's resonant frequency is well outside of the frequencies played by the sub
Torres
internal bracing is nice...but i like threaded rod as well. a lil more expensive, but i like the strength of it and the looks of it too actually. i think it gives it kind of an industrial look. you can see the nuts on the outside of my baffles and like it
