Posted January 7, 2009 Author Report Posted January 7, 2009 i dont aspect shops to know what all is out there like FI, DC, DD, DAT, AA ect. there telling me that my subs are wack and the RE xxx are the shit before i even give them a demo. bashing FI from the gate. they have/had no clue. do research before you bla bla at the mouth. he said, what makes you think that those FI's are better then the RE subs? i informed him to call scott at Fi and he'll tell you the differants between both subs since he built them and knows more then anyone else. still didnt believe me. im bashing the quote from the shop, not there work. ive had some alarms done there and not taking that away from them. im saying, THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK.

THEIR LIVES LOL!! i like that..big ups to u edit: pacific audio on san juan-in sac) wanted $450 per tv visor to install all it takes is to run 1 wire and split it in to two for both visors and then in to the indash... ----i walked in and was like how much would u install my 2 visors for he was like 450 i just said.... see ya less then a second....his out of his mind the installation costs more then the damn visors... i went home stripped the a pillars off..and the dash board ran some wires..had power popped in a dvd it worked like a charm. went back there and told him i did it for less then .80 cents with the wire i had laying around... people now days are a joke..bastards! Even if you don't buy too much stuff there get to know the owner and staff, know what they're good at (every shop owner is going to be really friggin good at a minimum of 1 thing, say alarms, fibreglass, whatever...) and where their knowledge isn't so good. There's a shop I spend a bit of time at - some of the staff wouldn't know how to improve stereo imaging to save themselves but they'll do 140dB from an 8" woofer on 600w. Likewise some of them wouldn't know which end of a Termlab goes in the car but they can glass any speaker you care to name onto any part of a car... Then again I still believe it's a bit naff to rubbish a brand, especially if it's just because they don't carry it, not just lack of brand knowledge. 10.x volts fo' life!
droopy89 Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 the head guy at local shop told me that there is no amp on earth that would need 1/0 gauge wire, i needed a bit when i was doing my big 3 and didnt wanna wait a few days for the mailman, and he demoed his car for me, 4 12" Type R's in some ungodly huge box, and to me, it wasnt as loud as he said it would be,, he told me i wouldnt be able to keep my head in the car for more than a second or so, i did and with a smile i might add,, o yea, he didnt sell 1/0 gauge and im sure thats why no amp would ever need that size 1997 S10 EC Whats in it 106.9 Sq.ft. I know I am not clueless, but I would rather you tell me why you believe a product you sell is better than what I have with facts, rather than try and just make me think my product is shit by just saying so. I am more apt to buy from a local guy who will give me fair pricing (i know the net makes it hard) and is willing to take the time to tell me why what they have is best. Then you objecting to the XXX not being the best sub in the world because its not at comps, cause comps determine worlds best subs, seriously. Chalk up another forum post about "How Im better at this than people who actually make a living off of it"
