caligreen
the better sub will be the one in the optimum enclosure with the electrical system to support that power. i don't think there is an easy answer to your question... if you're shopping for fi, dd or dc you're on the right track. however, who knows what will happen when the AA SMD superwoofers hit the scene
Mosin
Yeah dude, go to the subwoofer/enclosure section and read past posts. You'll find your answer there and then some. Quote Derp.

Slappin F150
Search around, look for ppls TL numbers and installs and comments about the subs. You could always go onto youtube and look at each sub in action. AI James
honestly just try to get any hands on experience you can, if forum members are near you ask for demos, all you can get form a forum is opinions, and everyone has a different one as well as a different sub. Experience is king.

lunari
This is just my personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. If you are asking about which sub you should buy wanting to push 4k+ to it daily, then you are just asking for trouble. Start off with something smaller, get a nice amp that pushes around 2k RMS. Pick up a pair of Fi Q's, AA Havocs, DC Level 4s, etc. Do plenty of research on them, build them a proper box, set your gains properly, etc. I think you will be plenty happy with any of the above, and if it turns out to be not enough for your liking. You'll have some experience on doing it properly and you can upgrade later. Quote Getting loud on a budget. Impossible? We shall see! 95 Chevy Blazer Pioneer DEH-6700MP RF T10001BD AA Havoc 18" ??
