jping2007 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 Had one and blew it in two weeks with the hcca5000 amp...Box built to spec from orions site and from what the orion tech told me....Then after it happened they said that they cant handle 2000 watts rms in a ported box.....sold the sub after i bought the recone kit and put it in...it was for the short time it lasted. I'll bet that you either had shitty voltage or you clipped he hell outta it. Prove me wrong... I'm sure if you was talking to Orion's tech they would've asked what kind of amp you'll be running and IF it couldn't handle 2kRMS ported they would say something...
