jack
does it have t-tops that you are removing on and off how much bass are you looking for do you still want site out of your back window. there are a lot of factors involved in setting up a system. (in a 82-92) but for cheap... you can get good sound just building a baffle that spans over the trunk well make it as air-tight as you can...and drop in a pair of twelves, mount the amp under it. roll with that until you want to spend more money on the stereo then the car is worth do some research on lots of camaro(and firebird) setups and pick what you like. build good luck Quote http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=29213 "sleeper build" (1) DC AUDIO Level4XL 10 (2) PowermasterD2700 batteries ALL FOR SALE TEAM DC AUDIO TEAM DIRTFLOORPOOR

Airborne
A friend of mine had an early 90's Irok (in the early 90's) and he had 2 15" (I think Power series) in a baffle sealed over the "trunk". That son of a bitch pounded.

blackandgoldl69
OK so now i have 1800 bucks to spend on my audio system. :hairtrick: I need everything including head unit and battery's. This should tell you what dimensions i am working with for the box. http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/car-audi...ll-sub-box.html Looking at putting two Re Audio 15's in the back if i can fit them. If not i will settle for 1, i am looking at all of the RE Audio 15's as options whatever will work with my budget.I am looking to build a system that you can hear from a block away and make people turn around to see what all the noise is. PLEASE HELP! Thanks James BTW its a Hardtop Edited February 8, 2009 by blackandgoldl69
Mikesmith0890
In my '83 i have 2 10" p2s and im pretty pleased with them.. Planning on upgrading in the future.. but for a budget u cant go wrong.. If you want to keep it a box in the well.. about 4-5ft^3 but if u do a complete fiberglass enclosure IIRC u get ~7ft^3 using the spare tire well and locking compartment.
