Nightshade
Other than hip hop/rap music what do some of you out there listen to? List some types of music and bands that you like in each category. Myself, I never started listening to hip hop/rap until I was 15 or so when I started getting into car stereos. It seems like pretty much every bass head listens to rap, what else you got? My favorites are: Reggae- The Expendables, Slightly Stoopid, Sublime(reggae crossover), King Tubby, Michael Franti & Spearhead Blue Grass- The Yonder Mountain String Band, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, The Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush Jam Bands- The Grateful Dead, Keller Williams, Moe, Iron and Wine, Ekoostik Hookah Hard Rock- Tool, Primus, Les Claypool's Green Frog Brigade, A Perfect Circle, Nirvana Rock- The Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, The Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin Those are all some types of music I listen to most of the time and the bands that make it into the rotation on a daily basis. As far as Rap goes I only really listen to Lil Jon, Jeezy, 36 Mafia, Eminem, and that's about it. I have quite a few more bands that I listen to but it's not really necessary to name all of them. I didn't really think it would be the best place there either cause I'm not refering anyone to a specific song or band, but yeah it would have probably been a better place to have it. I can't believe that you've heard of the Expendables. I saw them last year in concert when they opened up for Slightly Stoopid. If you like the Expendables check out Slightly Stoopid, they're teh shiz. BJD3
I'll mainly listen to metal and rap, but if I find something I like, I'll get it. ex.: I hate most electronica, but I love Daft Punk. I'll listen to most genres of music without complaint, but the one genre I hate is country. I have yet to find an artist that consistently puts out music I like. Quote Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above.
