Thing is tight, totally whisper quite and has everything but a hearter built in. Getting though the first cycle of the tank now with my Damselfish. Looking at filling the tank with LPS and SPS coral, a twin spot goby and a pistol shrimp. Its not nearly as hard or as expensive so far as everybody made it out to be, and its been pretty fun. Anybody else have a marine, coral, brackish, or fresh water tank? 99vic Posted February 12, 2009 Report Share Posted February 12, 2009 i have the same tank, and just replaced the lights for the 2nd time not knowing until i was talking to someone(a couple different stores) about it, they told me they are known for having lighting/electrical problems, they just blew again im not replacing them, also i dont know about where you are but the filters have to be special ordered. keep them clean. also the pump isn't really strong. it worked fine for me for a long time. then within the lase few days its totally taken a chit on me. this reminds me i need to lock my thread about it lol. good luck hope you dint have the problems i and many others have had. How much are filters?the filters were 22 each i had to replace them every month and that was stretching it they are cheaply made, i doubt it would make it through shipping, i cant sell it, id feel bad knowing its a pos. I had an oscar for years, got to big for the tank I had gave him to my bio teacher and she had him killed over the first weekend see had him lol he was really fun to watch tearing though feeder fish lol. But I wanted to try something new and coral looks tight so i am hoping I am not wasting my money.
