Not as serious but I remember the time my truck had its tires slashed and when I called the cops they gave me a hard time about the truck having flat tires parked on the st. The flatbed was 2 hours away and I had to wait so they didnt impound my car. Its ridiculous how sometimes your victimized then penalized for being a victim. Doesn't look like the people are hurting for money. You do not have to be contacted for your vehicle to be towed, and what if a building had caught on fire and a fire truck couldn't reach the building to extinguish the fire? Then they would sue for that. If they get money, then I would be surprised.
