Sable Nave
I am going to attempt a hairtrick soon, and I've seen people with their windows half down, all the way down, and other positions, but what is the best for a hairtrick? creyc
Sounds like a pretty easy test to me. Keep rolling the window down/up till you achieve best hair trick, and that's your position? It's not like you're retuning your box, just experiment! And generally it seems to get a hairtrick you need a mixture of high air pressure and high air volume. If your system doesn't move tons of air, putting the window down halfway can increase the pressure by decreasing the size of the aperture the air must flow through, in some cases resulting in a better hairtrick. The position of the window also affects the tuning of your car, which will of course affect its output. I don't know of any way to calculate at what position the window must be to achieve the perfect "hair trick", but if you're moving TONS of air you should be able to do it with both windows down, doors open, etc...like Neil Barber Quote 2001 Chevy Blazer (2) SAZ-3000Ds (2) custom 18" Madmax subs in a second row wall Rockford 600-4 Pioneer PRS components Pioneer P800PRS deck

Boon
Anything other than fully down is cheating. If you can actually manage a decent hairtrick with the setup in your sig I will be amazed, to be brutally honest. Quote 10.x volts fo' life! kingsuv
The best way is with both windows down. David has a better video of that. This one isn't as good but works This way works too. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
