Kinda like the amps, i feel overwhelmed by how many different options i have when it comes to the different manufactures of these things. I have a capacitor for my system because there is no need for a second battery. The capacitor fixed my light dimming problem and thats about it. But if your running alot of power a Battery would do alot more. It does its job and keeps my lights from dimming like they used to. Chris Posted February 17, 2007 Report Share Posted February 17, 2007 when i had mine, it didnt gimme a problem. x2 I got a 6 farad poweracoustik and it works pretty well plus i only got it for 70bucks offline a couple years ago. hasnt blown up yet or anything! even so, if you take even a small battery like an hc600 from kinetik, they take up less space, cost less, and put out as much power as 100 1farad caps.
