reinke
sound quality is great with thumb drives as long as the original song is good. as far as hooking one up to a deck that does not have a slot for it i am not too sure. but, when you figure it out plase let me know. i want to do the same thing to my alpine 9883 ----reference's---- meade916
Neo_frog
Honestly, it would not be easy. You would literally have to reprogram the unit entirely and (depending on the unit) create an entirely new interface to access the folders and subfolders. The device integration wouldn't be so bad, but the software would be a problem. Need an install? Hit me up.[email protected]Got car audio questions? The Performer
sound quality is great with thumb drives as long as the original song is good. as far as hooking one up to a deck that does not have a slot for it i am not too sure. but, when you figure it out plase let me know. i want to do the same thing to my alpine 9883 There is an interface kit for that for your alpine I believe. I know it's one for the 9887, so I believe the 9883 uses the same one. To the OP, Not sure about your headunit, check out JVC's website, you probably wont be able to do what you want to do without a H/U that offers the feature or the option of an integration kit.
