ChevyBoy Posted April 13, 2009 Report Share Posted April 13, 2009 Thats what i was thinking ,but that braided wire goes from her alternator to her battery and james said " dont see any fusing on that braided wire" so it made me wonder if i had missed out on something lolsome people do fuse that wire. others dontnice build btw. looks like a really tight fit in there. OOhhh the last time I talked to chris at mla I asked him if i needed to fused btween my alts and my batteries and he said no because if the fuse ever blew from your amps drawing to much current or any other reason (besides a short) it would cause your alternator to not see a load at all so it would go all willy nilly on trying to pump out more and more amps trying to get a voltage sense from the battery that it isin no longer contact with. .so it would burn up all my alternators FTL. .i guess pick your poison either way huh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

She did a great job and although it is not the deepest i've ever heard it sounds great on all the music she listens to (rarely below 40hz) Woofers are begging for more power, someday we'll see what they can do -Drew I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional.
