Hannah's Dc Bass Racer! "lola"

Recommended Posts

Damn. This is an incredible build. I wish my girl would allow me to do something in her car. That back hatch is not going to stand a chance with those DC's. Good luck, and get the woofas hooked up. :girl_devil:http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif :give_rose::friends:

formerly known as Blue86f150

its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies.

Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive

DAMN, i cant tell you how proud i am of you guys! You have came VERY far in just one year - that box looks GREAT!!! Nice job!!!

Means a lot coming from the boss!!!

Box Looks Excelent! Just one question if you don't mind me asking..

What are you tunned to? Or is there part of the port not pictured

The box was planned to be tuned to ~40hz

did you guys glass the kerfs??

We will, figured we'd see how it sounds before we put hours of glassing into it.

what exactly do kerfs do?

Look sick is right! The kerfs are the several (in our case 35) parallel cuts that allow us to curve the MDF.

Verdict's almost in..... Drum roll please...

think of it has a huge roundover allowing air to escape cleanly and disperse alot better than just and allowing the air to fan out instead of a normal slot port where air is being dumped straight out

I mean, what he said. :good:
